Kornacraft truly is a sewing centre. As you enter the shop, to your left there are 20+ machines on display and available for demonstration, ranging from the cheapest through to the top of the line combination sewing and embroidery machines from Babylock, Brother and Janome.
To your right is a range of tapestry, cross stitch and long stitch patterns, kits and threads. Look carefully and you might spot a couple of Kim’s collection of toy sewing machines from a by-gone era. Venturing deeper you will find a wide range of haberdashery, quilting accessories, wadding, stabilisers and threads. Here you see the first hint of what else is in store with the gorgeous cast iron cot filled with children’s prints and panels.
From there, the walls around the classroom space are lined with 2,000 plus bolts of Kim’s hand chosen fabrics from a range of suppliers. Quality homespun and organic fabrics feature, as do jelly rolls, layer cakes and fat quarters. A clothing rack supports 30+ panels including sashiko, cot and novelties. Display stands feature software, books, patterns and kits. Rounding out the sewing centre is range of accessory parts, bobbins and needles, plus in house servicing and repair.
