I’m excited to introduce the Fabric and Textile Business Directory
I’ve created the Directory to make it easier for local shops and textile services to connect with customers across Australia.
It’s a free resource, and it’s my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much – I’ve personally been supported by many local shops throughout my textile journey, including those who support local guilds, donate prizes for competitions, host events and workshops, or just stock the things I need to keep making textile art.
You can find the Directory here >>
It’s easy to search for fabric and patchwork shops, craft supplies, yarn and wool, long-arm quilters, textile artists and tutors, sewing machine repairers, and even sewing groups and guilds.
The Directory is a great resource for anyone who loves quilting, embroidery, knitting, crochet, dressmaking, upholstery, bag making, and textile craft, so you can find the supplies you need to keep sewing while supporting the small businesses that are the backbone of our community.
There is no cost to businesses to list in the Directory, and each business is personally verified by me before listing.
If you’d like to list your business just click here >>
You can list any predominantly sewing related business or official group, including:
- Patchwork Shops
- Sewing Machine Dealers
- Long-arm Quilting Services
- Yarn and Wool Shops
- Cross-stitch Kit Suppliers
- Textile Artists
- Fabric Designers
- Wholesale Suppliers
- Sewing groups or guilds, or
- Charity organisations that work with quilters, knitters, or sewers.
Anyone is welcome to link to the Directory, share it within your networks and encourage others to use it. With your help, we can turn this into a valuable resource for the entire textile and sewing community.
